Kamar

Our team has been visiting a young woman named Kamar since April 2022. It took a long time for her to open up to our team about her situation. She lives in an apartment used for prostitution and her everyday life is under the control of others. Although she was afraid to talk, little by little we gained her trust, and she told us her story. She’s been in prostitution for three years. Her little girl is 2 years old and she has an older child in her home country who is with Kamar's mother. Kamar's biggest desire is to pay the debt forced upon her by her mistress and find her way home to be with her other child.

The next visit she told us she was pregnant. The father is one of the “clients”. She has become very sick and depressed. She feels things can only get worse for her and told our team she didn't know what she should do with the child. Our team has assured her that she won’t be alone, she has our support and help and God will help her. She hadn't experienced care and compassion from anyone in a long time.
