Project Rescue is a bifurcated organization (Project Rescue Ministries and Project Rescue Foundation) with one goal, rescuing and restoring women and children internationally who are victims of sexual slavery.

2 Entities, 1 Goal

Project Rescue Ministries

Of the General Council of Assemblies of God denomination, Project Rescue Ministries is responsible for all the international programs of Project Rescue. The General Council provides oversight via a 9 chair governing board where activities and financials are monitored. This board provides the highest level of accountability for all activities.

Project Rescue Foundation

The Project Rescue Foundation was established in 2012 for the sole purpose of financially supporting the work of Project Rescue Ministries. Our foundation seeks alternative means of funding not historically available to Project Rescue Ministries including: Corporate partnerships, matching gift programs, planned giving, and merchandise sales. Project Rescue Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. See our Form 990 here

Last year, 85 cents of every dollar went directly to support ongoing international programs that restore hope in the lives of survivors of sexual exploitation. Our goal as an organization is to steward the resources we are given well and be transparent with our actions.

This stewardship and transparency is achieved through abiding by the following standards:

  • Oversight from our governing boards in the areas of monitoring financial policies, setting annual budgets, overseeing program spending, and reviewing annual fiscal performance.

  • Complying with the generally accepted accounting principles and acquiring professional tax services. This includes meeting all filing requirements for federal and state tax exempt organizations.

  • Obtaining an annual audit in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards from an independent public accounting firm

  • Operating as a lean and efficient team, both at the regional office and local partner level

  • Providing information and first-hand accounts directly from the field through our Annual Report
