HOPE STARTS HERE STORIES

Josiah

Josiah's mother was five months pregnant, HIV positive, and living in a red-light district when she reached out for help. After giving birth to Josiah, she felt unable to care for her son and made the difficult decision to give him up into the care of a local woman.

Without a caring home, this baby boy would grow up vulnerable to exploitation. His new guardian knew this very well and began looking for a safe place for Josiah where he could grow and have access to education. She soon connected with a Project Rescue safe home and Josiah is now thriving alongside other children in our care!
