Job Summary
Will serve as administrative assistant to the Project Rescue Executive Director in all areas of responsibility in order to assist Project Rescue leadership and ministry personnel in accomplishing their mission. Will assist with all communication on behalf of Project Rescue Executive Director and maintain a high level of confidentiality in all matters.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Be familiar with Project Rescue’s mission, core values, best practices, and policies as they interface with AGWM and the national churches where Project Rescue ministers. Advise and help orient new missionaries, MA’s and interns regarding these for their compliance with the same.
● Maintain the calendar, travel schedule, and appointments for the Project Rescue Executive Director (including but not limited to dates of speaking, various committees, staff meetings, board meetings, etc.).
● Promote good communication on behalf of the Project Rescue Executive Director via telephone, electronic mail, and document as appropriate.
● Enter items on Project Rescue office leadership team agenda on behalf of the Project Rescue Director, track decisions made and facilitate follow-up. Communicate decisions to the appropriate personnel.
● Facilitate frequent connections with Project Rescue AGWM leadership in appropriate regions, Project Rescue ministry leaders, and the Project Rescue Board of Elders.
● Schedule, coordinate and place zoom calls, record and transcribe where advisable and follow through on any requests. Properly document for record any necessary information.
● Participate in outside meetings as requested by the Project Rescue Executive Director (i.e. Project Rescue On-Field Trainings, Annual Regional Conferences, etc.)
● Coordinate planning, logistics and convening of annual/bi-annual Project Rescue Board of Elders.
● Coordinate annual Project Rescue Internship Program, track progress of interns applications, preparation, and plan logistics of the pre-field orientation
● Work closely with administrative assistants in appropriate AGWM Regional Offices to document Project Rescue items in the Minutes according to AGWM policy and procedures.
● Possible travel with the Executive Director
● Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in event planning or event management.
Proven track record of successfully managing and executing large-scale events.
Skills:
General office and professional secretarial experience.
Proficient in Google Workspace & PC computer skills.
Understanding the inner workings of AGWM is helpful.
Good people skills, service-oriented, and cultural sensitivity in communication with national colleagues are important.
General knowledge of AGWM’s overall operation is helpful.
