“I only did it for the money,” he said, his voice steady.

“That’s the only reason most of us are there.”

For years, James worked in prostitution in Belgium’s red-light district, caught in a cycle of survival.

Every night, he sold his body.

Every morning, he felt more distant from the God he thought wouldn’t want someone like him.

He left prostitution, trusting God would make a way. He kept visiting the center—every week for a year—letting God rewrite his story.

Now, James lives far from the streets where he was exploited. He’s working, building a new life, and most importantly, sharing his testimony. Wherever he goes, he tells others what God did for him—and what He can do for them.

“I know there are more like me,” he says. “And I want them to know freedom is possible.”
