Maanvi's family was no different. Her grandmother was sold into prostitution as a teenager, and then Maanvi's own mother faced years of sexual abuse and was driven into prostitution to support her siblings.

In the midst of this hurt and desperation, Maanvi was born.

She grew up in a home where her mother's "husband" abandoned them, leaving them both at risk of many dangers.

But God had a perfect plan for Maanvi’s life. During a visit by a Project Rescue partner, our staff met this mother and daughter, sharing with Maanvi's mother that the cycle of abuse and pain could end here with Maanvi.

By the grace of God, she agreed, and Maanvi was placed with our partner's team in a local safe home. 

That was years ago, and today, Maanvi is thriving. A quiet, thoughtful girl, she excels in her studies and actively participates in social activities at the center.

Having completed her 11th standard, she is now pursuing her 12th standard in Arts and dreams of becoming a successful journalist.

Maanvi’s life is a powerful reminder of how God’s perfect plan brings hope and restoration even from the darkest circumstances.

Maanvi’s future is bright.
