Not Bound
Together, we are bringing light to Curacao.
Across the islands of Curaçao, beneath its beauty and vibrant culture, many women and children face hidden exploitation. Poverty, broken family systems, and limited opportunities for education or safe employment leave them vulnerable to traffickers and abuse. The need is urgent: behind the postcard-perfect beaches, countless lives are in the shadows—waiting for someone to see them, care for them, and stand alongside them in their journey to restoration.
Our new partnership in Curaçao is a vital step toward meeting this need. By joining forces with a local leader and the community, we are offering hope, dignity, and creating long-term opportunities for freedom. Together, we believe God can bring healing where there has been harm, and restoration where there has been deep loss. Curaçao is ready for transformation, and with your support, that change begins now.
It starts with a home.
Ministry in Curacao:
Our initiatives
Vocational Training
Through jewelry making with sea glass, the women will learn a skill while also generating income to support themselves and any family they have. Curacao is a port that sees around 750,000 tourists a year.
Intervention
In addition to street outreach, our partner plans to hire girls actively living in exploitation to help them with a new way to make income.
A PLACE OF HOPE IN BELGIUM
In a culture where asking for help can feel like weakness, this café offers something powerful: a warm, welcoming space where survivors can begin again. It's a place where they build relationships, discover purpose, and take their first steps toward freedom. As the café enters its busiest season, we are committed to completing remaining renovations and ensuring the sustainability of this life-changing work.
Since 2018, Project Rescue’s partners in Belgium have reached more than 2,200 individuals through outreach, vocational training, and a supportive community of healing. At the heart of this outreach is a newly renovated café—now equipped with modern bathrooms, a remodeled kitchen, outdoor seating, and professional-grade café equipment.
