Anvi and Sri were just eight and ten years old when they first stepped onto the courtyard of our partner’s academy in Southern Asia. Their families had struggled with poverty and the risk of exploitation.

The girls carried heavy hearts and quiet fears as they waved goodbye to the only home they remembered. Yet from their first day, they found more than shelter — they discovered a community that welcomed them with warm meals, safe rooms, and a classroom where learning felt like freedom.

Over the years, Anvi blossomed under the care of dedicated teachers, her bright curiosity turned into a passion for guiding others. Sri found joy in numbers and logic, spending afternoons tinkering with computers in the academy’s small tech lab.

God's presence sustained them through every exam passed and book read, and He continued to weave hope into their stories. The walls of the academy witnessed their laughter, their late-night study sessions, and the quiet prayers they whispered before sleep.

Today, Anvi stands before her own classroom, inspiring a new generation of children to believe in their dreams. Sri navigates innovation at a fast-growing tech company, designing solutions that improve lives across her community.
