Stephanie Harrison first heard David Grant speak about Project Rescue seven years ago. She didn’t know it then, but the stirring she felt in her heart that night would impact her for years to come. Stephanie and her husband began to educate themselves about the issue of sexual slavery, asking God how they could help.

Last month, Stephanie teamed up with a local church and businesses to host the Run for One 5k as a way to raise awareness and funds on behalf of those in sexual slavery. More than 100 participants laced up their running shoes and raised money for women and children in Project Rescue affiliated aftercare homes.

We all have different talents and hobbies. While you may not be an avid runner, the possibilities for fundraisers are as unique as you. If you are interested in hosting a fundraiser for Project Rescue, please contact our office at info@projectrescue.com or visit our website to learn more. The money you raise helps continue the work of Intervention, Prevention and Restoration.
