Julie’s Story

“God made me aware of sex trafficking back in 2006. I watched a documentary that Natalie Grant did. I was moved to say the least. I didn’t know such things were taking place. Then last year I read Ashley Judd’s book, All That Is Bitter and Sweet, which broke my heart. The recent kidnapping of a little girl in my city made me want to get involved somehow. Yesterday, I was at Good Will and found a book Beyond Soiled Curtain by David and Beth Grant. I read in one day. All day today I’ve been on websites trying to find out how I can be involved. I posted the book on my FB page and thought I can at least pray. I just opened the back of the book and saw Project Rescue is in Springfield, Missouri. I did a double take because that’s where I live. I love how God works.”

Like Julie, everything we do to learn more, create awareness and find ways to prevent and fight human trafficking, the closer we are to provide restoration to ONE more survivor. The closer we are to saving ONE more life. The closer we are to seeing this crime come to END. Together we can make it happen. Here’s just two simple ways you can join with us in that fight.

YOU CAN HELP A CHILD TODAY! Project Rescue provides 16 Aftercare Programs for children of mothers in sexual slavery. For just $30 a month you can help provide one these little ones with basic shelter, care, and protection for one month. Click here to join the fight!
